Former Reach Director Launches Audience Development Consultancy

The Preston based trio have launched the new firm to help clients grow their audience

The former Audience and Content Director at Reach PLC has teamed up with Network Plus’ Head of Comms to start a new consultancy.

Ed Walker has joined forces with Shirah Bamber, who worked with Preston City Council before becoming Head of Communications at the national utility and infrastructure company and Luke Beardsworth, a former Reach editor to launch Alma.

The trio will be using their years of expertise to offer clients all across the UK a range of digital media, communications, and training services through the consultancy.

Shirah said: “This is a really exciting next step for me, and I am looking forward to translating my extensive experience across the public, private, and third sectors into useful solutions and support for clients. 

“Working with Ed and Luke offers me the perfect opportunity to offer clients a wider skillset, and a comprehensive approach to reaching a diverse range of audiences.”

Alma, which is Spanish for soul, is based in Lancashire, with the trio planning to work with clients across the country, providing support to senior leaders, increasing capability and capacity for in-house teams, and delivering bespoke training and workshops.
