Digital media, marketing and technology company, Brave Bison has strengthened its Performance leadership team with the addition of two seasoned media professionals.
Andy Platt is joining the team as Managing Partner and Brenda Imeson as Director of Strategy. Their extensive experience and proven track records at top-tier network agencies will be invaluable as the company continues on its ambitious growth trajectory.
- The addition of Andy and Brenda comes on the heels of several high-profile new business wins for Brave Bison, including successful campaigns for Yours Clothing, SeaSalt, and ProCook. These wins underscore the company’s commitment to delivering measurable results and innovative solutions for clients.
With nearly 20 years of agency knowledge, Andy will bring significant value to Brave Bison Performance. His career began at Dentsu’s Carat and Omnicom’s PHD, where he honed his skills in client services and strategic planning. Platt then played a pivotal role in the rebranding and strategic shift of M&C Saatchi Mobile into M&C Saatchi Performance, transforming it into a leading multi-channel performance agency. Most recently, he has been running his own consultancy, advising prominent brands such as Amazon, Meta, Sky, Vodafone, and Santander on performance media.

He will initially focus on supporting Brave Bison’s high-functioning client services team, enhancing both internal and external communications to ensure continued delivery of outstanding work for clients. His remit will be to focus on the Paid Media, SEO and DPR outputs, in particular, on how Brave Bison Performance is evolving its approach to keep ahead of its clients ahead of their competitors.
Also joining Brave Bison Performance, Brenda, who joins the business from Carat, has 30 years of marketing experience, specialising in media strategy for the past nine years.
- Her career spans various facets of marketing, including research and insight, new product development, and growth strategy development. While being instrumental in shaping the media strategies of FMCG and retail brands, advocating for integrated full-funnel approaches that marry brand and performance objectives.
She has particular expertise in using data-driven decisions and creative storytelling to create impactful campaigns. Her work has earned her numerous accolades, including an IPA award for effectiveness with Aldi’s “Swap and Save Challenge” and a recent shortlist for best use of media in Campaign’s media awards for H&B’s “Every Menopause Matters.”
In her role at Brave Bison Performance, Brenda will focus on connecting the dots for clients across the agency’s performance specialisms—paid search, social, programmatic, affiliates, andmore. She will craft audience-first strategies that deliver on brand and business outcomes, create bespoke measurement frameworks and tools, and support industry thought leadership and product innovation.
