“If 2022 was about building the boat, then 2023 is about making it go faster.”
This was the general consensus at the end of last year:
- Some agency leaders wanted to consolidate what they’d already got and improve upon it, rather than tacking on lots of new, shiny bits on for the sake of it.
- Others had noticed decisions about new year projects had been slow to come through, with clients reluctant to commit.
- Some even had plans to change what they do – be it niching or expanding – and wanted to hit the ground running.
