Emma Streets will be empowering teams in Leeds and Manchester

Integrated communications agency tigerbond is building its presence in the north with the appointment of a new associate director.

As well as working on the crisis and corporate communications team, Emma Streets is the company’s first head of the north – playing a key role in empowering teams in Leeds and Manchester. She will be positively influencing change, and mentoring professionals across the full UK business.

  • With over 20 years’ experience, Emma has expertise across a huge breadth of industries and channels, from social media to crisis and online reputation management.

Emma has worked in integrated brand and specialist PR agencies, leading national and global communications programmes for clients across FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, maritime and not-for-profit sectors for over a decade. Emma also spent four years in-house leading on PR and reputation management for one of the UK’s largest delivery companies, Evri.

I’m so pleased to be joining the team at tigerbond. It’s exciting to be part of an agency that is committed to embracing and expanding its northern heritage, at a time when the merging of online and traditional PR practices has never been so important

Speaking of the move, Emma said: “I’m so pleased to be joining the team at tigerbond. It’s exciting to be part of an agency that is committed to embracing and expanding its northern heritage, at a time when the merging of online and traditional PR practices has never been so important, particularly when it comes to crisis and corporate communications.”

  • tigerbond co-founder, Rachel Gladwin, added: “With offices in Leeds and Manchester, we are well-established heavyweights in the region and the appointment our first head of the north cements our commitment to cultivating and further growing our presence.”

The appointment follows the signing of Carina Everest as a senior account manager on the consumer team in the London office. Carina returns to the business following her departure five years ago to live in France and will see her work across the agency’s consumer portfolio.

She said: “I feel like I’ve come home to my tigerbond family, and I look forward to growing our consumer brand offering to existing and prospect clients.”

Formed in 2021 following a management buyout, tigerbond is a full-service communications agency with offices across England, Scotland and Ireland, as well as a joint venture – tartanbond – in Canada.

The agency, which employs 100 staff, achieved Campaign’s Best Places to Work status last year landing 5th place out of 100 UK agencies, and was announced as DE&I Finalist in the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards.

tigerbond has also pledged its commitment to joining the B Corp journey after establishing its dedicated sustainability practice, tigerB, in 2022.
