The SEO Works has unveiled hedgehog lab‘s brand new website.

The market-leading digital solution provider is no stranger to constant digital innovation and development – and this strong understanding of the digital landscape allowed them to identify that their website needed a complete overhaul to continue online growth.

  • Having acquired specialist digital agency Netsells last year, it was also decided that it would be optimal to house both brands under one umbrella – furthering the need for an update in their website.

To fulfil their ambitious marketing objectives, they needed a platform that was flexible and gave them an element of control. So once they had created a slick and eye-catching design, they required experienced developers to make it a reality – which is where The SEO Works came in.

One of the main reasons The SEO Works won the project, was their distinct ability to collaborate – with a joint ideation stage being front and centre of all things UX, hedgehog lab knew that strong collaboration and communication would result in the best possible outcome. Not only that but, with SEO in mind, the multi-service capabilities of the Sheffield-based agency impressed greatly – with peace of mind that the new site would be SEO-friendly.

The resulting website ticked all of the boxes. The feature-rich, custom brochure site was built using the most up-to-date version of WordPress – a specialism for the award-winning Web team.

Some key additions included:

  • A highly functional navigation bar for ease of browsing
  • An information capture for downloadable resources
  • A complete restructure of the resources section
  • High-resolution images with slick design
  • Full CRM tracking capabilities

“The ideation stage was real fun as we collaborated to showcase a whole range of cool UI design ideas, whilst remaining true to the hedgehog lab brand aesthetic.

“We were then tasked with building the subsequent design using Tailwind for streamlined CSS and code-splitting for performance, resulting in a modular WordPress build that makes the publishing of content a doddle.”
