The Leeds agency has welcomed the new Head of Content as the team continues to see impressive growth in the industry

A Leeds based marketing agency has appointed a new Head of Content for Sustainability.

One Nine Nine has added Andy Buchan to its impressive team to help continue the growth of its sustainability marketing expertise. He will be helping the agency expand its growing client roster, which is already loaded with high profile sustainability clients such as edible oil experts KTC and sustainable palm oil leaders Daabon.

Andy is an experienced journalist, with years of working in the print industry in Dubai under his belt and high up positions with some huge names, writing for Esquire and Rolling Stone and leading the team as Features Editor at Time Out. He has also headed up campaigns for Premier Inn, HSBC and has recently ghost-written Leeds’ icon Dave Beer’s autobiography.

Speaking about Andy’s appointment, Managing Director Barnaby Patchett said: “With our sustainability division continuing to grow, now is the ideal time to expand our agency and bring in Andy Buchan as our Head of Content. He’s an experienced journalist and editor and brings a wealth of knowledge from the print, digital and data worlds. It’s very satisfying to see the team develop as we build on our strong reputation by delivering results for flagship global clients across the entertainment, food and sustainability sectors.”

One Nine Nine was founded in 2019 by Managing Director Barnaby and Head of Digital James Bevan. Since then the team has only grown from strength to strength, and not only in the sustainability department- the music and entertainment side is also thriving, with clients such as DJ Annie Mac, Riz Ahmed and Damon Albarn.
