A Manchester agency has appointed by on the UK’s longest standing technology recyclers to lead its PR.

Refresh will be helping Mazuma to boost its brand profile and encourage more customers to trade in their old tech. The Refresh team will be building on Mazuma’s industry influence and continue to boost its influence with a campaign that will pull on consumer insights and expert led media relations.

Lucy Moore, associate director at Refresh, said: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen by Mazuma to lead its PR activity and are looking forward to getting started with this campaign.

“The brand’s mission to promote more sustainable tech purchasing and disposal habits is one that we’re particularly keen to get behind. We want to highlight the benefits that recycling old tech can bring to consumers – in terms of both the environment and money in their pockets.”

Megan Davison, head of marketing at Mazuma, added: “We’re really excited to kick things off with Refresh and work strategically together to reach new audiences.

“Many of us are guilty of leaving our old technology to collect dust in a drawer somewhere, and we want to educate consumers around the benefits of trading in. Not only is it a better option for the environment and safe data erasure, but it’s also a sure-fire way for people to earn a bit of extra cash with minimal effort amid the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

“Our growth continues to accelerate and we’re really excited to be collaborating with Refresh on a PR strategy which will help us reach our long-term goals.”
