An award-winning Manchester PR agency has expanded to Scotland with new senior hire.

Sway PR has appointed Guy Robb as its Head of B2B PR, who will add a presence in Scotland for the agency to enhance its current offering in Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield. Guy previously worked for Integris Communications, a leading Scottish Tech PR agency, for seven years before freelancing for the last six and working with brands such as Toshiba Medical Visualisation Systems, Oracle tool developers and loT systems designers.

He also brings years worth of business experience having held senior management positions within global organisations such as Ingenico, where he was Director of Product Management and Director of Product Development.

Founded in Manchester, Sway PR is growing rapidly, recording a 350% increase in turnover since 2020 having expanded from consumer PR into tech, charity and the B-2-B sector. In 2022 Sway PR was recognised with a win at the Creativepool Awards, with judge Sabine Huckmann calling their work ‘PR craftmanship.’

Most recently, the company restructured to create three divisions; Consumer, Sport and B2B.

Mark Hayward, managing director at Sway PR, said: “Guy has a fantastic track record of delivering for his clients. He fits in perfectly here and has already made significant contributions to our B2B clients. Having been responsible for many successful products in his career to date, he understands what it takes to launch new products and generate powerful media coverage.”

Robb will be heading up the new B-2-B team at Sway PR with the view of growing the department and continuing the award-winning work from the team.
