A senior account manager at specialist B2B marketing agency Lesniak Swann has celebrated her tenth year with the business by helping it to continue growing its list of clients.
Chelsea Haddon joined in 2013 as an apprentice with no background in marketing, having impressed during a recruitment process that received over 200 applicants.
- Since then she has steadily risen through the ranks – working with some of the biggest names in the B2B sector including Michelin, Saint-Gobain, Polypipe and IMI Norgren.
Her expertise has proved crucial in Lesniak Swann securing a number of new business wins over the last 12 months, and subsequently delivering campaigns that have generated well into the millions of pounds in sales for clients – as well as a healthy rise in profits for the agency.
This knack for achieving commercial results has meant that Chelsea is in demand, and boasts an enviable 100% success rate in new business pitches.
Alex Swann, managing director at Lesniak Swann, said: “An important priority for us as an agency is making sure we support people throughout their careers. We want them to stay with us for the long term and feel that they can continue to develop and be given new challenges as they learn and progress.
- “Chelsea is a great example of this, and demonstrates how this approach helps to deliver fantastic commercial results for our clients. She has a real skill for nurturing client relationships and helping them to get the very best results – in large part because of the dedication she shows in really understanding the technicalities of what they do.
“It’s exciting that this is really only the start for her, and that there is much more to come for Chelsea and the team in general as we continue to grow the business.”
Chelsea added: “I joined the agency as a teenager, and was able to go through a really good development programme that’s still ongoing today – recent courses have included the Mark Ritson Mini MBA in Marketing as well as a Leadership and Strategic Management course at Staffordshire University.
“But as well as being able to keep learning, my job satisfaction comes from seeing the success of campaigns we’ve created and delivered for our clients. The last year has been a great example of this, and gives us a great target to go and exceed in 2024!”
