Dentsu X Announces New Global Brand President

The top level appointment marks the start of a new era for the dentsu group

dentsu X has recently announced Shenda Loughnane as its new Global Brand President.

Shenda is an established leader and client consultant and is bringing a wealth of experience from her 30 year career in media. She believes this experience will be invaluable for shaping the future of dentsu X as it embraces the fast transformation of the media world, new technologies and innovations for evolving businesses.

Shenda is joining dentsu X from sister dentsu agency, iProspect, where she has been the Global Managing Director of the network for the past two years, and before that the Group Managing Director of dentsu Ireland. Before joining dentsu 12 years ago, Loughnane ran a digital creative agency for ten years and has worked for media agencies such as Zenith and Havas in both the UK and across Europe.

Reporting to Will Swayne in his new role as Global Practice President – Media, Shenda will represent dentsu X and its interest on the global media executive leadership team. In her role as Global Brand President for dentsu X, she will also oversee her own global leadership team and support dentsu X leaders in the 52 markets the agency operates in worldwide.

Loughnane will officially move into the position from 1 January 2024 and will be based jointly out of Dublin, Ireland, where she lives and, in the London, UK, Global HQ.
