Citypress Welcomes Paddy Smyth as Creative Director

Citypress has announced a £1m, three-year investment to further deepen its creative specialism.

The news comes as the agency confirms the appointment of Paddy Smyth as its Creative Director. 

Paddy Smyth joins the employee-owned communications agency following over a decade in senior creative roles at Golin, where he was behind award-winning campaigns for brands including Premier Inn, Worldpay and TRESemmé.

  • His appointment forms part of a significant multi-year investment in its award-winning creative team, which includes video, social media and strategy specialisms, and takes the form of new hires, tools and expanded training and development for the agency’s employees and clients.

As well as leading creative work for a number of Citypress’ largest clients, Paddy will work closely with Citypress Senior Director, Ruth Lee, to help build the agency’s creative discipline and functional capabilities.
