The new in-house promotions will give the agency more capacity to scope out a US base

A Bristol based agency has made important changes to its Board to help the team get ahead with expansion plans.

Two of the Mr B & Friends Senior Leadership Team have been promoted with immediate effect. Kate Gorringe is now the Executive Creative Director and former Strategy Director Adam Partridge is now the Executive Strategy Director.

The pair will take up their places on the independent brand consultancy’s Board alongside CEO Simon Barbara, Chairman Peter Gandolfo and Managing Partner Ellie Wilson. Kate has been with Mr B & Friends for nearing a decade, she has previously led large-scale projects for Principality Building Society, Persimmon and Canada Life to name a few.

Leading a team of 13 creatives in the Bristol office, Kate has inspired the team to deliver extraordinary work to clients across a range of sectors.

Adam Partridge has led the agency Strategy and Planning department for the last seven years. Among his successes are projects with Bristol Bears, Bristol City Football Club and Hoare Lea. His new role has a broader strategic mandate to include the agency brand and marketing operation, product and service innovation and development, as well as overseeing the strategic output of the Bristol and soon to be opened London office.

These promotions will allow Mr B & Friends CEO, Simon Barbato, more time to concentrate on the company’s expansion plans including the imminent opening of the London office. Once Mr B & Friends London is full up and running in autumn, he will be exploring global options, with hopes of a US base.
