Buddy Media Welcomes New Hires in Next Stage of Growth Plans

The new hires come following a number of new business wins

Creative first social agency, Buddy Media Group has announced a series of senior hires.

The strategic hires include:

  • Tom McGovern, Director of Client Services
  • Jack Davy, Creative Strategist
  • Carolyn Vasheghani, Senior Creative Producer
  • Kirin Sall, Senior Social Media Manager
  • Katya Rawlings, Account Director. 

Tom McGovern joins Buddy Media as Director of Client Services & Operations. He previously held the Head of Client Services role at Engage Digital Partners and has worked on key accounts such as Mastercard, Qatar Airways, and Guinness. At Buddy Media Tom will lead on all delivery and operations for the business. He will play a vital role in building Buddy Media’s future and ensuring they deliver first-class campaigns.  

Jack Davy joins Buddy Media as a Creative Strategist. Having previously worked at W Communications and the Romans. Jack led the Creative delivery on key accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, Diageo, and EA Games. Jack’s experience places him perfectly to drive consistent comms messaging and strategy in his new role.

Sam Budd

Carolyn Vasheghani joins as a Senior Creative & Content Manager. Before joining Buddy Media, Carolyn was a Creative Strategist at Redpill Influencer Marketing, where she worked on notable accounts including Sandals Resorts, Apple, and Samsung Home. In her role at Buddy, she will be focusing on content ideation, social strategy, content creation, content management, reporting, and supporting all new business activities. 

Also joining from Redpill is Katya Rawlings, who will be leading some of Buddy Media’s key clients as an Account Director. Her experience across brands like Converse, Hendricks, and Hyundai will be vital in ensuring the development and delivery of some exciting upcoming campaigns. 

Lastly, Kirin Sall joins as a Senior Social Media Manager. Before joining Buddy Media, Kirin held the position of Senior Social and Digital Account Manager at MHP Mischief, where she worked on accounts namely LEGO, Pimm’s, and England Cricket Board. In her new role, Kirin will be responsible for organic social media management as well as new business pitching.
