BURNING OUT: How Do You Manage the Stress of Running an Agency?
- Running an agency comes with a lot of stress, but do you know how to manage it?
- We’re joined by Vanessa Davies from Chaptr, who has first-hand experience of learning the importance of stress management.
- Come along, share your experiences, and figure out how best to manage your own stress. And don’t worry – this session isn’t recorded.
Running a busy agency is hard work.
But do you know how to manage the stress that comes with it?
“I learned a lot of really valuable techniques that, as a result, have helped me to live a much more balanced life,” says Vanessa. “I think it’s really important that people recognise the signs before anything happens.”
Not only does Vanessa have first-hand experience, but she also studies counselling and therapeutic support.
“I’ve run regular sessions on things like stress management and healthy habits, and it’s mostly basic stuff, but it’s always things people forget to do – and having that reminder is quite useful.”
“It’s really about making a space where people can talk about the challenges they’re facing, and then find some practical solutions that work for them,” she says.
This session will be a reflection on how you cope with stress, how you’ve found the last 18 months, in a safe space for you to chat about how you’ve been managing the things piling up on your plate.
