In the next live workshop on the Agency Leadership Programme, we’ll be joined by Kirsty Hulse to help you work on communicating and presenting with confidence.

Kirsty is a renowned facilitator and public speaker, founder of Roar Training, and runs her own annual event Confidence Live! – so she is the perfect person to help you work on harnessing confidence as a superpower.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a clearer understanding of:

  • Believing in yourself and your leadership style. Whether that’s simply speaking up more in meetings and asserting yourself, or presenting your ideas to the team with clarity and impact.
  • Grabbing – and keeping – your audience’s attention. Kirsty will take you through practical techniques you can apply to keep people listening, as well as understanding what keeps people engaged.
  • Turning even the driest of slides into engaging, fun presentations.
  • Mastering storytelling and emotion to make your key points stick and resonate.

Communicating with confidence is a vital skill in leadership, and it can be done in many different ways to align with your personality and leadership style. This is something Kirsty will be helping us unpack and digest, and putting into action as soon as you leave the room.

What actually happens on the day?

We start the event at 1pm, so try to arrive by 12:45pm.

The afternoon’s format is pretty simple: this is a workshop led by Kirsty that will feature some interactivity and discussion.

We will serve tea, coffee and sweet things to keep you going, but please grab lunch before you arrive.

We’ll also mix you up a bit so you’re meeting and connecting with new people in the same shoes.
